Hollow is an atmospheric hayride utilizing Leap Motion and Oculus Rift DK1 in Unreal 4. This project was created to be an introduction to VR and new technologies. Originally created at a game jam for the Oculus Rift. It won 8th place nationally in the Leap Motion 3D Jam and won the Microsoft //GameOn competition as well as an Unreal Dev Grant.
I acted as the lead programmer, animator, and 3D modeler during production. I also handled VR and Leap Motion integration. The main challenge on Hollow was creating a horseback/carriage riding mechanic fully utilizing hand tracking technology.
